Financial Assistance :-
A large number of scholarships and other financial assistance are available to the students of the institute.
Govt.& Other Scholarships Aids :-
Student Welfare Division also forwards applications from students for scholarship/ financial aid to external agencies. The Division, in case of special need, tries its best to help the students, by all possible means.
EWYLP:
Various schemes operate under the Earn While You Learn Programme (EWYLP) from which financial assistance is available. EWYLP operates through trust office.
Scholarship ::
Scholarships and Free-ships are available as per Govt. of Maharashtra norms to the eligible category students and Economically Backward Category(EBC) students.
Scholarship Schemes for Backward Class :-
1) Other Backward Class (OBC) Scholarship – 50%
2) Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) Scholarship – 100%
3) Special Backward Class (SBC) Scholarship – 50%)
4) De-notified Tribes Vimukt Jati & Nomadic Tribe (VJ/NT) Scholarship – 100%
5) Minority Scholarship for Muslim, Sikh, Parsi, Jain, Buddha & Christen Community – Rs.25,000
6) Rajarshree Shahu Maharaj Scholarship Scheme for economically backward students whose parent’s income is less than 8 lakh per year.
Hostel Maintenance Allowance Scheme :-
1) Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Hostel Maintenance Allowance Scheme for economically backward class. (Income Limit upto Rs. 8,00,000/-)
2) Bharatratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Swadhar Yojana Hostel Maintenance Allowance Scheme for SC Category. (Income Limit upto Rs. 8,00,000/-)
3) Pandit Dindayal Upadhyay Swayam Yojana Hostel Maintenance Allowance Scheme for ST Category. (Income Limit upto Rs. 8,00,000/-)
