The Department of Electrical Engineering was established in 2009 with intake of 60. Electrical Engineering discipline deals with study, analysis, development, testing, protection & control of electrical systems such as generation, transmission, distribution, utilization & management of energy, power quality issues, industrial drives etc.
The department has well qualified and experienced staff supported with well equipped Laboratories. The department takes part in sponsored projects, arranging industrial visit, conducting Guest lectures. Electrical Diploma engineers can gain power generation & distribution companies.
The department has student association EESA (Electrical Engineering Students Association) for department student’s activities. EESA organizes various activities like debate, paper presentation, quiz contest and group discussion for the students.
The main objective of department is to impart strong background in theory as well as practical knowledge of Electrical Engineering so that he can succeed in the present competitive world.
